Grasshopper
Do you hear your own heartbeat? Do you hear the grasshopper which is at your feet? -- quote from Kung Fu, a television show I absolutely ate up when I was a kid. And I find grasshoppers quite special too.
You made me think again about something whose existence I have ignored! You have been very alert with this one, I am talking about the half dried leaves and the tiny hairs on the stem..Barbara, you teach me to pay attention:-)
What you see and how you express it with watercolor is truly wonderful. Love your shadows and light, loose touch. I also really liked the collaborative mission sketch - very intricate.
