Power and Light

This is my painting of the view from the Pasadena Glenarm power plant, from the fountain looking toward Raymond Hill.
Our computer problems seem to be resolved, not without intervention, but without a new computer. In an exciting bit of news, my painting of the goose was selected for Watercolor West.

  3. Never though that power plants could be a subject to paint, hats off for thinking out of the box! By adding the foreground branches, you have created the illusion of height for the subject. Nicely done Barbara!

  4. I never would have thought to paint the power plant, but your painting of it is terrific. You took the mundane & made it a piece of art! Wonderful - and congrats on your goose painting also!

  5. Congratulations on the Goose!

The rendition of the power plant with the greenery looks like an architecturally interesting dwelling.. which it is. Lovely white and white layers.

The images from distances is very good too hmmm?
